After quite a bit of testing and playing around, I've just put a new version of TRaceON online. This one should be considered "The Evaluation Version": It's not the full multiplayer game but that which you can play without even joining this site. There's also a version for players who have registered (Join!) and logged in. The main benefit of playing after you've logged in on the site is that you can save your time for each level, as well as the overall time and thus keep track of your high-scores.

So, I'm looking forward to seeing who will be the fastest TRaceON player. The high-score system is pretty versatile - I might also publish those players who manage to keep the games alive longest (the AIs are kind of dumb, so this might be harder than you think), as well as average times and number of sessions (for the real hardcore players to show off).

Right now, only the shortest time is published, but this is easy to extend.

I'm calling this "evaluation versions" because these will remain free. While there will be a monthly subscription fee for using the multiplayer service, this is to get your feet wet. So, I'm hoping you'll be having a lot of fun with this! I certainly did during implementation (except for some really annoying bugs I still had to face today ;-) ).
